Keto-friendly Peppermint Mocha Coffee
I have jumped on the keto bandwagon. My father has been “eating keto” for quite a while now and I have seen his health improve immensely. I decided to give it a try myself. So far it hasn’t been that difficult to give up carbs. I do miss an occasional treat every once in a while though so I’ve been on a mission to create keto-friendly versions of old favorites.
And I mean creating treats that actually taste good. No settling for something that doesn’t even resemble the original taste of said treat! Now, I do believe some of these new keto-friendly treat recipes I’ve been seeing actually taste good, it can be done!
I really missed my sweet coffee in the mornings and I do not like plain stevia or monkfruit sweetener. To me they leave an aftertaste that just isn’t worth it. Everyone is different though and I have found that I like Pyure, an organic stevia mix. (That is an affiliate link but this post is NOT sponsored.)

How to Make Peppermint Mocha Coffee
First, gather your ingredients. Any brand of any of these products is fine, these are just what I use myself. If you don’t follow the keto or a low carb diet then feel free to use regular granulated sugar in place of the Pyure.
Make a cup of your favorite coffee. I never ever consume caffeinated drinks if I can help it so I made my favorite Dunkin Donuts decaf.
Then, you add all the above ingredients and mix well. I use on of the electric whisks I bought from Amazon. It works great!!
If you like you can add some whipped cream to top your coffee off but I don’t usually do that. You do you.

Notes
