This one is an easy DIY painted wide mouth mason jar with an adorable burlap bow! Look how adorable this is!
It is very simple to make and makes a perfect centerpiece for a number of things like BBQs. weddings, parties, just around the home for holidays. Just coordinate your paint colors to match your occasion.
Here is what you need:
- Mason Jar with Lid
- Red, Blue & White Spray Paint (or the colors of your choice of course!)
- Spray Lacquer (optional)
- 5×5 inch piece of Burlap
- String or Twine
- Hot Glue
Directions:
Cut a piece of burlap about 5×5 inches. Pinch it in the middle to make a bow and tie with some twine or string.
Using hot glue, glue your bow to the side of the lid of the mason jar.
Spray paint the bow and the lid white. Set aside to dry. Using your blue and red spray paint, freehand painted wide stripes around the jar, alternating colors.
Spray with the lacquer if desired. Set aside to dry.
Put the lid on top of the jar and fill with silverware or whatever you like!
See?! I told you it was easy! I know I will end up having all sorts of these around in different color combinations!
