Three Ingredient Chocolate Chip PUMPKIN Cookies
I love most things pumpkin flavored. I was a bit skeptical that my kiddos would like these chocolate chip pumpkin cookies because they can be a tad picky. But they LOVED these!
They are SUPER easy to make since they only need THREE ingredients!! You can whip them up in no time flat!
These chocolate chip pumpkin cookies are a great sweet to make when company drops in….Or if you just want something sweet in a hurry for you. While the kids are still at school.
Ahem.
All you need is 1 can of pumpkin puree (14-15 oz), a box of spice cake mix (although you can use any flavor you like), and 1 cup of chocolate chips…..or the whole bag….that works too. Or if you don’t want to use the whole bag in the cookies you can just eat the rest of the bag while you wait for the cookies to bake.
Never mind, don’t listen to me.
These cookies do not last very long in my house. And even when there are some leftover at bedtime, they are mysteriously gone when I get up in the morning. HMMM. I plead the 5th.

How to make Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies
All you need for this cookie recipe is one can of pumpkin puree, 1 box of spice cake mix, and one cup (or bag) of chocolate chips. I always use milk chocolate chips in all my cookies, but if you prefer semi-sweet or bittersweet (who ARE you?), then feel free to go for it!
Dump all the ingredients into one bowl and mix it all up! Then drop the cookies onto a baking sheet and bake!
Then try to resist eating all the cookies in one day. I’ll bet you can’t. 😂

Oh wow, these sound so simple! We have a bake sale tomorrow, wish I could make these in time for that event. I’ll have to save it for next time.
Love the simplicity of this recipe! Any pumpkin dessert is a win in my book!
what a quick and easy recipe with the box mix and they look so good!
What a great idea! With just 3 ingredients, I might look like a professional baker and I’ll definitely add a whole bag of chocolate chips because…chocolate 🙂
I thrive when pumpkin is in season, so these cookies are calling my name! I’m not much of a baker, but these cookies might change that! Ah! They look so good!
Only three ingredients? WOW! That is what I like to hear. Definitely adding this recipe to my favorites now. Thank you!
This recipe is calling my name! I’m currently up way too early and I know cookies aren’t breakfast, but the pumpkin makes them healthy, right?! I don’t have spice cake mix though, but I bet I have something that will work! (That something might be funfetti.)
Two best worlds collide using chocolate and pumpkin in a special treat for the fall. Loving this so much will bake a batch next week.
I love pumpkin and chocolate together and these cookies look like a winner.
This is an excellent recipe for kids and the kid at heart. Thanks for sharing.
So easy! That sure comes in handy when people stops by unannounced – which they tend to do. Looks delicious too, and I love your writing style, really funny. 🙂
I love pumpkin everything so these cookies sound perfect to me. They’re definitely on my fall baking list. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve made these several times and they are always a hit. You can’t just have one so watch out:)
I am a pumpkin fanatic, yet I still have to try the pumpkin/chocolate combination. This looks like the perfect place to start….and my grandson LOVE pumpkin too. I think we need to bake some cookies together this weekend.
Pamela’s has a new gluten free spice cake mix now and I think I need to buy a bag to try this recipe!
